Bellaire Schools are on Thanksgiving Break starting tomorrow, Wednesday, November 22 - Friday, November 24, 2023. Mon, Nov. 27 is a professional development day for staff members and all students are off that day. Students will return to school on Tuesday, November 28, 2023. Our middle school students wore red and black today for Tusky Valley. They also contributed about $300 towards the Bellaire Band Parents district fundraiser. We wear these colors for the Tuscarawas Valley Local School District today to support them as they are experiencing unimaginable grief and loss. #BandingAsOne #TuskyValleyStrong
One of the best parts of being a Big Red is the amount of support our community shows other people during times of tragedy. Bellaire Middle School raised $300 for Tuscarawas Valley Local Schools. This money will be combined with the money raised by BES & BHS for the Bellaire Band Parents Red & Black Day Fundraiser. Thank you to the Bellaire School Community for supporting Tusky Valley students, families, and community members, as they grieve this horrific loss. Our middle school band students are pictured here with shirts that our art teacher, Mrs. Lahna, made for them to wear. The logo is also featured on the second picture. We think it looks perfect! Also, does anyone recognize those professional movers who helped us get it into the gymnasium? Tomorrow, November 21, 2023 is our 7th & 8th Grade Fall Dance Party from 6-8 p.m. The cost is $5 to enter & food, drinks, and pictures are available for purchase. School appropriate attire is expected and it is a fall theme. Students must be in school tomorrow to attend the dance or have a doctor’s note. We look forward to seeing our 7th & 8th grade students there tomorrow!
