Chemistry students completed the Flame Test Lab today to identify metallic ions by the colors they emit in a flame. Electrons absorb energy, jump to higher energy levels, then release light at specific wavelengths as they return, creating unique colors for each metal - allowing for identification. #LetsGoReds
