MESSAGE FROM THE PRINCIPAL
Welcome to the 2025–2026 school year at Bellaire High School—a year that is especially meaningful as we celebrate our building’s 100th anniversary. For a century, generations of students have walked these halls, learning, growing, and preparing for their futures. This year, we will honor our past while looking forward with excitement to the next 100 years of excellence.
This year brings new electives and opportunities designed to spark curiosity, challenge thinking, and encourage risk taking in pursuit of dreams. From courses that build hands-on skills to programs that expand creative and career-focused learning, we are committed to providing a rich menu of experiences for every student. Alongside these new offerings, we encourage all students to get involved—whether it’s through athletics, the arts, academic clubs, service organizations, or leadership roles.
Our goals for the year are clear and achievable:
Improve attendance—every day students are here is a day they move closer to their goals.
Increase academic performance—work hard, challenge yourself, and use every opportunity to grow and prepare.
Promote risk-taking—be willing to try, learn, and push past comfort zones.
We will also focus on living healthier and making good choices—both in and out of the classroom—because the habits students build now will shape the rest of their lives. Our ultimate mission is to prepare all graduates for one of the 4 E’s:
Enrolled in higher education
Employed in a meaningful career
Enlisted in service to our nation
Entrepreneur creating opportunities for yourself and others
Our wonderful staff is ready—teachers, counselors, coaches, and support staff are here to challenge, support, and help students succeed every step of the way. Together, let’s build a year marked by hard work, involvement, growth, and a shared commitment to excellence.
Here’s to the start of an incredible school year—and to the next 100 years of BHS.
Let’s Go Reds!
